Use “Find Numeric Value” Feature

This feature guide covers the Find Numeric Value setting in WedgeLink Standard, which filters incoming RS-232 data so only the numeric measurement value is passed through to the active application. This strips out unit labels, timestamps, or other extraneous characters a gage may include in its output string. Use this when a connected gage’s raw output includes more than just the measurement value and that extra text shouldn’t be typed into the destination field.
