WedgeLink AT – Isolate Numeric Output

This feature guide covers the Find First Numeric Parse setting on the WedgeLink AT keyboard wedge. This parsing option filters incoming RS-232 data so that only the numeric measurement value is passed through to the active application, stripping out unit labels, timestamps, or other characters the gage may include in its output string. Use this when a connected gage’s raw RS-232 output includes extra text or formatting that shouldn’t be typed into the data field.
