If you’re connecting Mahr Federal MarIndicator, MarTest, or similar probes to MobileCollect for SPC data collection, confirm pricing against the updated Selection Tool file before quoting.

Fowler SPC Cable Pricing Updated

Pricing has been updated for the following Fowler cable part numbers used with Mini Mobile Module M3E and RS-232 V2 transmitters:

  • MC-MM-54-115-333-X
  • MC-V2-54-115-444-X
  • MC-V2-54-115-527-X

These cables are used to connect Fowler digital gages with RS-232 SPC output to MobileCollect for wireless data collection to SPC software.

Mitutoyo: Cable 937386 Removed

All instances of Mitutoyo SPC cable 937386 have been removed from the Selection Tool database. If you were previously referencing this cable for a Mitutoyo gage integration, use the updated Selection Tool to identify the correct current cable for your specific gage model. If you need this cable please contact sales@microridge.com

Mitutoyo 06AGL Variants: M3E Part Numbers Added

New Mini Mobile Module M3E part numbers are now listed in the Selection Tool for the Mitutoyo 06AGL cable family variants. The M3E (MC-MM-M3-EVO) is MicroRidge’s latest-generation Mini Mobile Module, featuring OpenGage Mode, 800,000+ readings in continuous mode, and full backward compatibility with legacy 6-pin M3 connectors.

If you’re specifying MobileCollect for Mitutoyo gages using 06AGL-series cables and want access to upcoming M3E-exclusive features, select the M3E part numbers now listed for these variants. GageSync enables two-way Mitutoyo Digimatic S1 communication, allowing serial number and calibration metadata to be transmitted alongside measurement data — directly supporting traceability requirements under ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and AS9100D. TriggerSync enables on-demand measurement reads, giving SPC software or a PLC the ability to trigger a gage reading over the RM2.4 wireless link rather than relying on manual key presses. Both features are exclusive to the M3E transmitter and are targeted for Q3 2026 release.

Dakota MX-5: Pricing Updated

Pricing has been updated for the Dakota MX-5 ultrasonic thickness gage cable in the Selection Tool. The Dakota MX-5 is supported by MobileCollect for wireless ultrasonic wall thickness data collection — a common application in pipe manufacturing and weld inspection workflows operating under API 5CT, API 5L, and related dimensional inspection standards.

Transmitter Compatibility Notes: Ono-Sokki and Mahr FED MAX

Two important transmitter compatibility constraints are now documented in the Selection Tool internal notes. We’re also surfacing them here so they’re easy to find:

Ono-Sokki gages — RM2.4 Mini Mobile Module M3 only. Ono-Sokki SPC-compatible gages connect to MobileCollect via the legacy Mini Mobile Module M3 transmitter. Please contact sales@microridge.com to spec an Ono-Sokki gage.

Mahr MC-M3-FED-MAX — RM2.4 Mini Mobile Module M3 only. The Mahr FED MAX cable (MC-M3-FED-MAX) is compatible with the legacy Mini Mobile Module M3 transmitter. This applies to Mahr FED MAX indicators and related probes requiring the extended-range cable. Please contact sales@microridge.com to spec a FED MAX cable.
