MobileCollect eliminates the cable between gage and computer. It makes it easier to bring your gage to what is being measured, rather than bringing what is being measured to your gage. Collect measurements with handheld gages (calipers, digital indicators, micrometers, etc.) and other instruments, and send wirelessly to your PC.
A MobileCollect wireless system consists of Mobile Modules and/or Remotes (transmitters) and Bases (receivers). Both Mobile Module and Remote Transmitters require the correct cable to interface between the Transmitter and device.
With MobileCollect you’re not restricted by gage brand or the number of transmitters you can pair to a base receiver. This flexibility continues with our two transmitter options including battery powered Mobile Modules for portable devices and USB powered Remotes for stationary devices. In addition to this, we have various Base Receiver options depending on the needs of your software application and if you’re using the base on a mobile device such as a tablet.
We have a suite of software applications for configuring and enhancing the power of the MobileCollect System. If you have specific technical needs, chances are we can accommodate them.
MobileCollect offers you the flexibility to incorporate over 3,500 different gages into a single wireless measurement collection system. This includes both digital and RS-232 gages from various manufactures. We created the MobileCollect Selection Tool so you can verify what is needed to connect your gage to a MobileCollect System. If you don’t see your gage, you can always email sales@microridge.com and we’ll let you know what is needed to bring your gage online.Â
MobileCollect Base Receivers accept measurements from MobileModule and Remote Transmitters and transfer the measurement to any software application on a PC, PLC, tablet or mobile device.Â

Our MobileCollect Transmitters are connected directly to the measurement device and transmit data to the Base Receiver. Mobile Modules are battery powered and used when mobility is key. Remotes are used when you would like to capture data from stationary devices.Â
The Mini Mobile Module is the go-to transmitter for connecting most gages. If you’re using a indicator, caliper, micrometer or other digital devices this is the transmitter for you. The Mini Mobile Module is our most compact transmitter.Â
Are you interested in sending commands from the Base Receiver or your SPC software to initiate a gage reading? The Command Mobile Module is purpose built for this with a larger battery and form factor than the Mini Mobile Module.Â
Want to bring an RS-232 device online with your other gages? Now you can with the RS-232 V2 Mobile Module! This Mobile Module has the same larger form factor as the Command Mobile Module to support it’s need for a larger battery.Â
This RS-232 transmitter gives you the ability to send commands to an RS-232 device from your base or SPC software to get a reading.Â
All of the great features found in the Command Mobile Module without the need to worry about battery life.Â
